SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Three people were injured as a vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into another vehicle in Branch County’s Sherwood Township Friday morning.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened shortly before 6:00 a.m. as a vehicle driven eastbound on M-60 near Stanton Road by 50-year-old Trudy Johnson of Battle Creek crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by 87-year-old Lewis Marvin of Union City head-on.
Both vehicles had major front-end damage and were towed from the scene. Johnson, Marvin, and a passenger in his vehicle, 70-year-old Dian Marvin, were all injured and transported to Bronson Hospital by LifeCare Ambulance.
