UPDATE: Piper was located, in good health, on M-37 in Bedford Village. He is now safe and at home with family.
BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Battle Creek police are trying to find a missing 56-year-old man.
They say Brian Piper was last seen at his home on Sigel Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Piper is white, 5’11”, 150 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen in a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Piper is schizophrenic, bipolar, has a seizure disorder, and is shy and reclusive. He typically only speaks if he is spoken to, and has a cognitive delay similar to someone with dementia due to his medication.
Police say anyone who has information about where he could be should call Calhoun County Central Dispatch at (269) 781-0911.
