PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 30-year-old Battle Creek man is in the Calhoun County Jail for absconding parole.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office pulled him over around 8 a.m. Thursday on Bridgen Drive near Maxwell Avenue in Pennfield Township and discovered he had an active warrant for parole absconding.
He was arrested without incident.
Deputies and Michigan Department of Corrections investigators executed a search warrant as his home in the 100 block of Bridgen Drive after he was arrested.
The investigation is ongoing, and the man’s name has not been released.
