ALBION, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Michigan State Police say SWET detectives, a State Police K9 team, Fifth District troopers, and the Battle Creek Police Special Investigations Units executed multiple search warrants in Albion last Friday which led to the arrest of two suspects.
According to a post on social media, the operation targeted a known drug dealer in the Albion/Jackson area. Authorities seized large amounts of methamphetamine, prescription pills, handguns, and ammunition.
Police say a seized handgun was stolen from a home in Calhoun County.
They added there was evidence of drug distribution which led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Albion man charged with drug possession, intent to deliver, firearm offenses, and possession of stolen property; and a 29-year-old Albion woman on outstanding warrants.
