We walked downtown to Battle Creek's Festival Market Square this morning for the opening of the
Farmer's Market
. I found a medium sized tomato, Julie bought lunch to go, & Cindy picked up a bag at The Incredible Kettle~
Booth's around the Farmers Market had a variety of
plants
and food, from Pasty's, BBQ, Breads, asparagus & cheeses. It was nice to
meet the vendor's
and see what's new this year~
Countryside Greenhouse and Produce, Redline BBQ, Legacy Farms, The Cheese People, Bear Creek Farm and Market, Evans Bakery, J & S Farms, Grampa's Pastys, Elwell Etcetera, Fox's Pizza Den, Avalon Farms Homegrown, Ben's Soft Pretzels, Stephenson's Farm and
Market, Tollgate Gardens, They even had masks for sale.
Shop with safety practices in place like pre-bagged
products, handwashing stations, social distancing and a single, central payment process. It's Wednesday's 9-2pm & Friday's 3-7pm again this year.
